What is the first thing you think of when you hear the word Army? War...most likely. This is where everyone is wrong. The Army doesn't just train you for combat or prepare you for war. There are other branches the army can offer.
The United States army consist of the most dedicated and most respected soldiers and they try their best to protect the freedom of the American people while serving at home or abroad. The U.S army offers more than 150 different careers pathway. You can obtain jobs in art, science, intelligence, combat, aviation, engineering and more.
If you are interested in technology, the army offers a great variety of stimulating jobs in which you train on high tech equipment that are unavailable in most civilian jobs.The army also offers medical and science jobs. If you want more action you can become a trauma surgeon , giving medical attention to those soldiers who are injured during combat.
You can also learn engineering and mathematical skills. So next time someone asks you whether you would like to join the United States Army, think twice before you turning down. You can benefit greatly from the opportunity so do not take it for granted. If you do choose to join the Military for combat there are different fields, which include: The army itself, The Marines , The Navy, Air Force and Coast Guards. In which all five are different in their own ways but still are very similar because they all protect our country and its people.
